Initial intake can be a few days. If ordering and shipping is required, that can be another week or two. Further evaluation and preparation can require another couple days. Once submission is complete, it can take 24-48 hours to hear from the category approval department. It can take several submissions before approval is attained.

Amazon is dynamic, changing requirements daily and without notice. Even the list of restricted categories and products is in constant flux.
